My husband and I came to ATA hoping to find an activity that would help teach our daughter some self control and discipline. My husband was working out of town at the time and I needed help since I was working too. Not only did it help with self control and discipline, it also helped her with focus, fitness, peer pressure and confidence. In the 7 years that she has been here, she has earned her 3rd degree Black Belt, placed 1st in the state in forms, weapons and Extreme and taken 2nd place at Worlds Competition. Not only that, as I watched her, it brought out the kid in me and I started taking class as well. I have been taking class now for 5 years. Its great exercise and awesome stress relief.
